Water meters for cold water METER ÂÒ-Õ
Turbine water meters ÂT-(Äó)Õ are intended for measurement of volume of cold delivery water coming through the pipeline at the temperature from 5˚C up to 40˚C and operating pressure of the water supply system no more than 1,0 MPa (10 kgf/cm²). Turbine water meters ÂT-(Äó)Ã (single-jet, dry) are intended for measurement of volume of hot delivery water coming through the pipeline at the temperature from 5°C up to 90°C and operating pressure of water supply system no more than 1,0 MPa (10 kgf/cm²). The hot water meters can be used for cold water metering. This model of the meter can be modified for measurements of the volume of hot water, coming through the pipeline at the temperature from 5°C up to 150°C and operating pressure in the water supply system no more than 1,6 MPa (16 kgf/cm²).
The meters ÂT can be additionally equipped with a sensor (reed relay) for remote transfer of low-frequency pulses. The transfer factor (pulse value) should be indicated at the order by the consumer. It can be - 100; 1000; 10000; 100000 l/imp.
In case of equipping of the meters ÂT with pulse sensors of any pulse value, the marking will have “È” letter on it.

The structure and principle of operation:
The turbine water meters consist of the pig-iron case with flange connections and interchangeable measuring mechanism (measuring insert with the turbine, case cover, display system with magnetic clutch and accounting mechanism). The principle of operation of the meter is the measurement of number of revolutions of the turbine rotating under action of flowing water. The water flow gets in the case of the meter and than through the flow rectifier to the measuring insert, where the turbine rotates on firm supports across the flow. The water, coming through the measuring insert goes to the outlet fitting. Speed of the turbine rotation is proportional to the water cost. The measuring insert consists of the flow rectifier with forward measuring semichamber, the turbine with an axis, adjusting regulator and rotation transfer mechanism with back measuring semichamber. The registration mechanism is hermetically separated from the measured medium by non-magnetic medium-dividing membrane. For the remote reading of the meterage using the pulse sensor with the frequency proportional to the water discharge, one of the pointers of the point indicator or one of the disks of the registration mechanism must have the magnet on it (only the meters having letter "È" in the label) which passage near to the reed relay provides closure of the reed relay contacts. The registration mechanism having scaling mechanical reducer, provides transformation of the number of the propeller revolutions into the measured water volume (in cubic meters and their fractions according to the readings of the roller mechanism, in cubic meter fractions – according to the readings of pointer indicators). The scale of the registration mechanism has an asterisk, providing increase in the meter resolution of the meter.
